     On page 2, after line 29, insert: A(3) The superintendent of public instruction shall distribute to the school districts information about laws governing students= rights of religious expression in school.@

EFFECT: The superintendent of public instruction (SPI) must distribute to school districts information about student=s rights of religious expression in schools.  Paragraphs in the existing section are separated into subsections concerning: (1) the right to express religious views; (2) the right not to express religious views; and (3) the requirement that SPI distribute information about those rights.
