     On page 3, line 21, after AWashington.@ insert AThe six officers under subsections (a) and (b) of this subsection may be appointed by the executive director only after the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs provides the director with the names of  qualified officers.@

     On page 3, line 22, strike Asolicited@ and insert Aappointed@

EFFECT: Requires the board on law enforcement training standards and education to include three representatives from a county law enforcement agency and three from a city police agency to be selected from a list of candidates submitted by the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chiefs. 

Technical correction, to state that the law enforcement officers may be Aappointed@ by the executive director, rather than be Asolicited@ by the executive director.
