    On page 4, after line 10, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 4.  A new section is added to chapter 43.131 RCW to read as follows:

    The Washington quality awards council and its powers and duties shall be terminated June 30, 1999, as provided in section 5 of this act.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 5.  A new section is added to chapter 43.131 RCW to read as follows:

    The following acts or parts of acts, as now existing or hereafter amended, are repealed, effective June 30, 2000:

(1) RCW 43.07.--- and 1997 c ... s 1 (section 1 of this act) & 1994 c 306 s 1; and

(2) RCW 43.07.--- and 1997 c ... s 2 (section 2 of this act)."

    Correct the title accordingly.
