EFFECT:  Continues the current authority of the Department of Labor and Industries to adopt rules on hazardous occupations for minors.  Deletes requirements that the department rules must be adopted under the Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act and may not be more restrictive than federal rules unless necessary to protect minors= health and safety.
