     On page 8, beginning on line 3, strike all of section 7

Renumber remaining sections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Restores current law that allows the Department of Licensing to make investigations annually or more frequently to determine whether violations of the sellers of travel law are or are about to occur and to determine whether a registration should be granted, denied, revoked or suspended.  The provision in the striking amendment allows such investigations to occur upon receipt of a complaint against a seller of travel.
