     On page 3, after line 2, insert the following subsection:

A(c) If a student, while taking the test, reaches a point at which the student=s performance will be considered Asubstantially below grade level@ regardless of the student=s performance on the remainder of the test, the test must be discontinued.@

     Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly

EFFECT: The test must be discontinued at the point at which the student=s performance will be considered Asubstantially below grade level@ as determined by SPI.
