     On page 2, line 8, after Asection@ insert A, whether a locked box or a trigger lock or other similar device that prevents a firearm from discharging is available that does not include a disclaimer from the manufacturer that the locked box or trigger lock or other device should not be used with a loaded firearm.@

EFFECT:   Provides that if death or serious injury occurs, the prosecutor must consider whether locked boxes or trigger locks are available that do not include a disclaimer from the manufacturer that the devices should not be used with a loaded firearm.
