     On page 6, line 14 of the striking amendment, after Acenter.@ strike AThe@ and insert AExcept as provided in subsection (10) of this section, the@

 

     On page 6, after line 31 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

     A(10) The public stadium authority shall retain one and three-quarters percent of all revenues derived from the operation of the stadium and exhibition center to be divided as follows: (a) fourteen percent to be used to pay for local improvements within the areas immediately surrounding the stadium and exhibition center, (b) fourteen percent to be deposited into the youth athletic facility grant account created in section 214(4) of this act, (c) thirty-one percent to be deposited into the stadium and exhibition center account created in section 214(1) of this act, (d) fourteen percent may be distributed  to a nonprofit organization to be used to support the special Olympics in the state of Washington, and (e) thirty-one percent shall be used for statewide tourism development and promotion activities of the department of community, trade, and economic development;@

 

Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

 

 

     On page 21, line 10 of the striking amendment, after Aunder@ insert Asection 106(10) of this act and@


 

 

 

 

EFFECT:  Dedicates 1.75 percent of the stadium revenues to be used as follows: 14% each for local improvements in the area, statewide funding of youth athletic facility grants, and Special Olympics; and 31% each for stadium bond debt retirement and tourism promotion.
