     On page 41, after line 28 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

A(2) Notwithstanding the provisions of RCW 29.79.040, the referendum ballot title shall be AShall the state of Washington impose:  (1) A two and one-half percent tax on the retail value of sports-licensed goods sold in this state; and (2) an admissions tax of ten percent of all tickets purchased, except luxury box suites, as part of the public (seventy-five percent)and private (twenty-five percent) funding of a stadium and exhibition center, as long as the >team affiliate= occupies the facility rent free or the stadium is debt free?@@

     Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Creates the referendum ballot title.
