     On page 118, after line 14, insert the following:

ANEW SECTION. Sec. 804.  The sum of sixty-six million two hundred thousand dollars is appropriated from the general fund to the health services account to provide continued funding of the basic health plan, Medicaid coverage for children, and other health services.@

EFFECT: Appropriates $66.2 million from the General Fund--State into the Health Services Account in Fiscal Year 1997.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Increases General Fund-State by $66,200,000.
