EFFECT:  A student who has passed a subject matter assessment will not be explicitly permitted to retake it in order to improve a passing score.  The reference to the student retaking the assessment at the student=s own expense is also removed.  In addition, a student=s transcript will indicate whether the student has met the requirements for a certificate of academic proficiency, but the transcript will not include the highest score attained in each content area or the dates when the assessments were taken.
