    On page 10, after line 14, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 7.  If a law enforcement agency receives a report of a crime or investigates a crime in which a victim of the crime is a minor under the age of eighteen, the law enforcement agency shall notify the parent of the minor victim of the alleged crime, unless there is reason to believe that the parent committed or participated in the commission of the crime or notification of the parent would jeopardize the course of the investigation or the safety of the child."

    Correct the title.
