     On page 1, after line 16, insert the following new paragraph:

AIf a provisional employee has completed two years of certificated employment with the district, and the superintendent of the school district determines that the employee=s work is unsatisfactory based on district evaluation criteria, the district shall notify the provisional employee in writing of stated specific areas of deficiencies that need to be corrected before terminating employment after the third year.@

EFFECT: The school district must notify a provisional employee who has completed two years of employment of specific deficiencies before terminating employment after the third year.
