    On page 4, after line 3, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 5.  A new section is added to chapter 28B.20 RCW to read as follows:

    The student appointed under sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this act shall excuse himself or herself from participation or voting on matters relating to the hiring, discipline, or tenure of faculty members.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 6.  A new section is added to chapter 28B.30 RCW to read as follows:

    The student appointed under sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this act shall excuse himself or herself from participation or voting on matters relating to the hiring, discipline, or tenure of faculty members.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 7.  A new section is added to chapter 28B.35 RCW to read as follows:

    The student appointed under sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this act shall excuse himself or herself from participation or voting on matters relating to the hiring, discipline, or tenure of faculty members.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 8.  A new section is added to chapter 28B.40 RCW to read as follows:

    The student appointed under sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of this act shall excuse himself or herself from participation or voting on matters relating to the hiring, discipline, or tenure of faculty members."

    Correct the title.
