Mr. President:
We of your Conference Committee, to whom was referred ENGROSSED SUBSTITUTE SENATE BILL NO. 5574, instituting property tax reform, have had the same under consideration and we recommend that the amendment by the House (5574-S.E AMH SCHO LONG 238) be adopted, with the following change:
On page 1, line 11 of the amendment, after "treasurer" insert "or tax year 2003, whichever is earlier,"; and
that the bill do pass as amended by the Conference Committee.
