     On page 5, line 3, after Ataken.@ insert AThe department shall notify appropriate public and private child care resource and referral agencies about nonreferral status or stop placement status electronically or by certified mail within twenty-four hours.@

     On page 5, line 9, after Aagencies@ insert Aby electronic communication or by certified mail within two business days@

     On page 5, line 11, after Aagencies@ insert Aelectronically or by certified mail within two business days

EFFECT: Requires the department to notify resource and referral agencies of a change in a provider=s referral status within two business days.  Permits the notification to be by e-mail, fax, or certified mail.
