     On page 6, line 6, after "dollars" insert ". Chapter ___, Laws of 1997 (this act) does not affect the existing authority of a local government to impose conditions and approvals on a dock that is not a substantial development"

EFFECT:  Clarifies that local governments may continue to impose conditions and approvals on docks which are exempt from the substantial development permit requirement.
