     On page 88, line 9, increase the general fund--state appropriation for FY 1998 by $75,000

     On page 88, line 10, increase the general fund--state appropriation for FY 1999 by $75,000

     Correct the total accordingly.

     On page 88, line 14, after Alimitations:@ insert A(1)@

     On page 88, after line 15, insert:

A(2) $75,000 of the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 1998 and $75,000 of the general fund--state appropriation for fiscal year 1999 are provided solely to replace lost federal funding for summer food programs for children in low-income areas.@

EFFECT: Provides state funding to replace reduced federally funds used for summer food programs.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Increases General Fund-State by $150,000.
