     On page 32, line 37, beginning with ANursing@ strike all material through A$ 454,000" on page 33, line 1.

     Correct the total accordingly.

     On page 134, beginning on line 34, strike all of section 911.  Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct the title accordingly.

EFFECT: Removes the authority to appropriate funds from the Nursing Home Civil Penalties Account for investigation and resolution of resident abuse and neglect.  The $454,000 appropriation made from the account in the Aging and Adult Services program is also eliminated.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Reduces Other Funds (Nursing Home Civil Penalties Account) by $454,000.
