     On page 18, beginning on line 16, strike all of section 139

     Renumber remaining sections consecutively and correct internal references.

     On page 14, after line 5, insert the following:

A(3) The office of financial management shall ensure that all funds budgeted by state agencies for payment of services provided by the office of minority and women=s business enterprises shall be placed in reserve.@

EFFECT: Eliminates funding for the Office of Minority and Women=s Business Enterprises.  The Office of Financial Management shall ensure that all funds budgeted for OMWBE services shall be placed in reserve.

FISCAL IMPACT:

Reduces Other Funds by $2,369,000.
