A(2) Subsection (1) of this section does not apply to a city assumption of a water-sewer district if a notice of the proposed action has been filed with a boundary review board on or before January 1, 1998.@

EFFECT: Allows a proposed assumption of a district by a city to proceed under existing law if a notice of the proposed action has been filed with a boundary review board on or before January 1, 1998.
