    On page 2, line 7, after "revenue;" strike "and"

    On page 2, line 8, after "(f)" insert "Evaluate the impacts of water-dependent rates on economic development in economically distressed counties; and

    (g)"

    On page 4, after line 17, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 4.  If specific funding for the purposes of this act, referencing this act by bill or chapter number, is not provided by June 30, 1998, in the omnibus appropriations act, this act is null and void."

    Correct the title.

EFFECT:  (1) Requires the Department of Natural Resources to evaluate and report on the impacts of water-dependent rates in economically distressed counties.

    (2) If specific funding is not provided in the omnibus appropriations act, this act is null and void.
