    On page 13, line 17, increase the general fund-state appropriation by $2,500,000

    On page 13, line 18, increase the general fund-state appropriation by $2,500,000

    Adjust the total appropriation accordingly.

On page 15, after line 13, insert the following:

    "(h) $2.500,000 of the general fund-state fiscal year 1998 appropriation and $2,500,000 of the general fund-state fiscal year 1999 appropriation are provided solely for the community juvenile accountability program pursuant to Engrossed Third Substitute House Bill 3900 (revising the juvenile code).  If the bill is not enacted by June 30, 1997, the amounts provided in this subsection shall lapse."

EFFECT: Increases the appropriation for juvenile justice reform and dedicates the increase to the community accountability program.
