    On page 12, line 21, after "treatment." insert the following:

    "Unless the facility is operated as a nonprofit corporation, under Title 24 RCW, the professional person conducting the initial evaluation shall not be employed by, or under contract with, the facility."

EFFECT: Requires initial evaluation of minors taken to for profit facilities be conducted by persons who are not paid by the facility.
