On page 5, after line 31, insert the following subsection:
"(6) (a) At least ten percent of the revenue received from the difference in rates for tuition fees for students enrolled in programs leading to the degree of juris doctor and students enrolled in graduate study programs shall be used to assist needy resident students enrolled in programs leading to the degree of juris doctor.
(b) At least ten percent of the revenue received from the difference in rates for tuition fees for students enrolled in programs leading to a masters of business administration at the University of Washington and graduate study programs shall be used to assist needy resident students enrolled in programs leading to the degree of masters of business administration at the University of Washington.
(c) This requirement is in addition to the deposit requirements of the institutional financial aid fund under RCW 28B.15.820."

EFFECT OF AMENDMENT: Requires 10 percent of the increased tuition for law students and masters of business administration students to be used to support resident students in law school or masters of business administration programs at the University of Washington.
