    On page 1, line 18, after "Title 77 RCW" insert ", except as used in RCW 16.36.050(1) and RCW 16.36.080(1),(2),(3), and (5)"

    On page 2, after line 2, insert the following:

    ""Farm-raised fish" means fish raised by aquaculture as defined in RCW 15.85.020.  Farm-raised fish are considered to be a part of animal agriculture; however, disease inspection, prevention, and control programs and related activities for farm-raised fish are administered  by the department of fish and wildlife under chapter 75.58 RCW."

1)EFFECT: Limits the scope of application of the animal health provisions to wildlife inasmuch as they pertain to common carriers bringing wildlife into the state without an official health certificate, reporting requirements of veterinarians and labs to report infectious or contagious diseases in wildlife, the director's investigation duties for wildlife related diseases, and  the unlawfulness of importing infected wildlife without a permit.

2)EFFECT: Fish raised by aquaculture under chapter 15.85 RCW are considered part of animal agriculture; however inspection, disease control, and other related activities are relegated to the department of fish and wildlife under the provisions of chapter 75.85 RCW.
