Background: Congress repealed the Aid to Families with Dependent Children program and replaced it with the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program as part of federal welfare reform.
Summary of Bill: References to the Aid to Families with Dependent Children program in the Revised Code of Washington are deleted and replaced with references to the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Program.

Effective Date: Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
