Brief Description:  Allowing nonresidents under the age of fifteen to obtain a free fishing license.

Background:  Current law requires nonresident youths under 15 years of age to pay $20 for a fishing license for game fish.  Resident youths under 15 years of age are not required to have a fishing license.

 

Summary:  A fishing license is not required for resident or nonresident juveniles under 15 years of age.  Nonresident juveniles under 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult, with a valid Washington fishing license, to qualify for exemption from the $20 nonresident fishing license fee.
