Background:  The Department of Social and Health Services requests technical amendments to RCW 13.34.090 (dependency statutes) and RCW 43.43.700 (Washington State Patrol Identification Unit).  The statutes as presently written cross reference the incorrect subsection definitions. 

 

Summary of Bill:  RCW 13.34.090(2) is amended to cross reference the dependency definition, from subsection (2) to (4). 

 

RCW 43.43.700 is amended to cross reference the appropriate dependency subsection, from (2b) to (4b).

 

Appropriation:  None.

 

Fiscal Note:  Not requested.

 

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
