Reducing the state property tax levy by 5 %.

    AN ACT Relating to reducing the state property tax levy; and adding a new section to chapter 84.55 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 84.55 RCW to read as follows:

    The state property tax levy for collection in 1997 shall be reduced by 5.0 percent of the levy amount that would otherwise be allowed under this chapter without regard to this section.
