Prohibiting liquor in certain state buildings.

    AN ACT Relating to possession of liquor in certain buildings on the state capitol campus; adding a new section to chapter 66.44 RCW; and prescribing penalties.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 66.44 RCW to read as follows:

    (1) No person may knowingly possess or consume liquor in any of the following buildings located on the west state capitol campus grounds:

    (a) Legislative building;

    (b) John L. O'Brien building; or

    (c) John A. Cherberg building.

    (2) A violation of this section is a class 1 civil infraction under chapter 7.80 RCW.
