Prescribing amusement game agreements.



    AN ACT Relating to amusement games; and adding a new section to chapter 9.46 RCW.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

    NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 9.46 RCW to read as follows:

    (1) A person may enter into an agreement with another person for a period of up to three years requiring such person to purchase exclusively from or sell exclusively to such other person, amusement games.  The agreement may provide that it be automatically renewed for another three-year period, or successive three-year periods, if neither party gives termination notice of the agreement at least thirty days prior to its termination.

    (2) A person may enter into an agreement with another person for a period of up to three years requiring such person to purchase exclusively from or sell exclusively to such other person, devices, materials, products, equipment, or services which are used in connection with a particular amusement game.  The agreement must provide that it be automatically renewed for another three-year period, or successive three-year periods, if neither party gives termination notice of the agreement at least thirty days prior to its termination date.
