AN ACT Relating to absentee ballots; and adding a new section to chapter 29.36 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 29.36 RCW to read as follows:
Commencing on the first day that absentee ballots may be processed, each county auditor shall maintain a list of absentee ballots that have been returned. The list shall be updated at the end of each business day through the Monday before the election or primary for which the absentee ballots are issued and shall be made available for any member of the public to view.
