Protecting communications between state employees and legislators.

    AN ACT Relating to communications between state employees and legislators; and adding a new section to chapter 41.04 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 41.04 RCW to read as follows:

    Any state employee may communicate with any legislator without reporting it to a superior, agency head, or otherwise.
