Requiring the transportation improvement board to report to the legislative transportation committees.


    AN ACT Relating to transportation improvement board reporting requirements; and adding a new section to chapter 47.26 RCW.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

    NEW SECTION.  Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 47.26 RCW to read as follows:

    Beginning February 1, 1999, and annually thereafter, the transportation improvement board shall submit to the transportation committees of the senate and the house of representatives, proposed lists of projects for which funds are being requested for appropriation from the following accounts:  Transportation improvement account, urban arterial trust account, central Puget Sound public transportation account, public transportation systems account, small city account, and city hardship assistance account.  The lists shall include, but not be limited to, a brief description of the project, total expenditures by phase and biennium, funding requirements of other organizations, priority rating, start date by phase, applicable state route or road name, impacted county, and legislative district.
