Limiting the promotion of gambling.

    AN ACT Relating to limiting the promotion of gambling; and adding a new section to chapter 43.330 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.330 RCW to read as follows:

    The department may not promote gambling activity, as defined under chapter 9.46 RCW, that is not licensed by the state of Washington under state law, but may promote gambling activity conducted under a class III gaming compact negotiated under RCW 9.46.360, if a tribal government has paid all required mitigation fees to a local government.
