Requiring disclosure of the names of both parents of children as a condition of eligibility for temporary assistance for needy families.

    AN ACT Relating to eligibility for temporary assistance for needy families; and adding a new section to chapter 74.08 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 74.08 RCW to read as follows:

    As a condition of eligibility for temporary assistance for needy families, applicants shall, at the time of application for assistance, provide the names of both parents of their child or children, whether born or unborn.
