Reporting certain environmental expenditures.

    AN ACT Relating to reporting environmental expenditures; and adding a new section to chapter 43.88 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 43.88 RCW to read as follows:

    The office of financial management shall develop standard definitions for accounting and methods of reporting capital expenditures for fish habitat restoration and mitigation costs for all state agencies.  The standard accounting and reporting requirements shall be implemented on July 1, 1999.
