AN ACT Relating to extending the deadline for implementing rules governing dog guides and service animals; and amending RCW 49.60.390.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
Sec. 1. RCW 49.60.390 and 1997 c 271 s 25 are each amended to read as follows:
The Washington state human rights commission shall adopt rules implementing chapter 271, Laws of 1997 no later than March 1, 1998, with effective dates no earlier than March 1, 1999.
