HOUSE RESOLUTION NO. 98-4675, by Representative Lisk

     WHEREAS, In January 1997 the House of Representatives, by way of House Resolution No. 97-4612, created a select committee to examine the laws and policies of the state that govern vendor contracting and vendor services; and

     WHEREAS, The important work of the committee has not been completed;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives does hereby reestablish the select committee created by House Resolution No. 97-4612; and

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the committee shall continue to consist of seven members and shall have all the powers and duties of a standing committee of the House; and

     BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the committee shall issue a report of its findings to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the minority leader no later than Friday, June 26, 1998.
