Allowing county auditors to renew drivers' licenses.

    AN ACT Relating to delegation of authority to county auditors by the director of licensing; and adding a new section to chapter 46.20 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 46.20 RCW to read as follows:

    The director, under RCW 46.01.130 and 46.01.140, may authorize county auditors to renew driver's licenses in counties where no department of licensing field offices are located.
