AN ACT Relating to requiring a landlord to provide a rent receipt if requested; and adding a new section to chapter 59.18 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 59.18 RCW to read as follows:
A landlord shall provide a written receipt for rent payments made upon the request of a tenant.
