Prohibiting the office of the superintendent of public instruction from allocating funds for the Goals 2000 program.

    AN ACT Relating to education program funding; and adding a new section to chapter 28A.300 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 28A.300 RCW to read as follows:

    The office of the superintendent of public instruction may not allocate funds to implement the federal goals 2000 program.
