Clarifying provisions relating to the association of superior court judges.

    AN ACT Relating to the association of superior court judges; and adding new sections to chapter 2.16 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 2.16 RCW to read as follows:

    Judges of the superior court are not subject to any mandatory dues or assessments as a condition of membership in the association.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  A new section is added to chapter 2.16 RCW to read as follows:

    The office of the administrator for the courts shall provide all necessary assistance to the association in carrying out its duties for the governance of the superior courts under Article IV, section 24 of the state Constitution.
