Authorizing limited licenses for physical therapists.

    AN ACT Relating to limited licensure for physical therapists; and adding a new section to chapter 18.74 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 18.74 RCW to read as follows:

    The board is authorized to impose a limited license on a licensee or applicant where appropriate.  For purposes of this section, "limited license" means a license upon which the board imposes limitations or conditions, or both, as to scope of practice, place of practice, supervision of practice, duration of licensed status, or type or condition of patient or client served.  The board is also authorized to reactivate inactive licenses.
