AN ACT Relating to levy equalization for the Colville school district; making an appropriation; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The sum of one hundred fifty-two thousand one hundred eighty-nine dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1998, from the general fund to the office of the superintendent of public instruction for direct disbursement to the Colville school district for increasing its levy equalization funds for the 1998-99 school year.
NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and takes effect immediately.
