HB 1020 - DIGEST

     Designates the duties and responsibilities of the office.

     Requires the inspector general to submit a report summarizing the activities of the office to the legislature by November 30, 1997, and by November 30, 1998, and biennially thereafter.

     Transfers the powers, duties, and functions of the office of special investigation to the office of inspector general.
