     Provides that Washington state patrol officers may engage in off-duty law enforcement employment for private benefit, subject to rules adopted under this act.

     Requires guidelines to be adopted by the state patrol.

     Affords protection to the state from tort liability.

     Requires employers to be notified of the tort immunity prior to employment.
