HB 1366 - DIGEST

     Provides that an employee who was a member of the public employees' retirement system on or before January 1, 1997, and, on the effective date of this act, is employed by the department of fish and wildlife as a fish and wildlife enforcement officer has the following options:  (1) Remain a member of the public employees' retirement system; or

     (2) make an irrevocable choice, filed in writing with the department of retirement systems no later than January 1, 1998, to transfer to the law enforcement officers' and fire fighters' retirement system plan II as defined in RCW 41.26.030.
