HB 1375 - DIGEST

     Authorizes a correctional officer employed by the department of corrections to carry a firearm.

     Declares that if the correctional officer is not a law enforcement officer within the meaning of RCW 9.41.010, then this authorization applies only while the correctional officer is traveling to or from his or her place of employment.
